Popular fashion designer Dame Vivienne Westwood said that she’s been envisioning her own version of a royal wedding and has been asked what she thinks would be a perfect motif for the upcoming wedding of Britain’s Prince William and fiancée Kate Middleton.
Westwood has always been noted for her daring designs where her outfits were hailed for having pushed the fashion boundaries to the limit.
At the recently concluded Milan Menswear Fashion Week, Westwood unveiled her latest Fall 2011 menswear collection so called Freya. Prior to the start of the show, the designer referenced the upcoming nuptials and encouraged the women to have this chance to dream on what their special guy would look like, as well as speculate about the wedding dress.
The latest collection featured cardigans, baggy pants and double denims. There were traditional designs such as tweed suits and pinstriped outfits.
The couple is slated to marry on April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London.
